No. Previously we had asked partners to add a Custom ID provided by us to each video that was claimed. This was to ensure that revenue generated by your channel was correctly attributed to you in the most efficient way possible.
We have a new system which no longer requires the Custom ID to be added to the video. It is better to leave that field as is when claiming your videos.
If you are submitting a video to a Hub channel, your Custom ID is needed so that the Hub manager can claim your video on your behalf so that you receive revenues associated with your video. If you don't have your Custom ID don't worry because our Hub managers can look them up and will make sure your submitted videos are claimed accordingly. If you ever need your Custom ID, you can find it on any of your monthly revenue reports.
